Warning: Some Violence and Much Strong Language.HE WROTE: Jump Starting Agnes
I've been stalled out on Agnes for several days now but it's starting to come together. One of the problems was a lack of conflict. We had a lot of people standing around chatting and not much happening. But now I'm seeing the action. I followed the advice I so freely give other writers and went back to the beginning and re-read what we had to see how it could be used in other ways.
Of course I wrote the above paragraph before exchanging emails with Jennifer this morning. Back to square one. It's at the point where it's time to just write and let it all sort out. We'll pull it together. It's time to just grind forward and see what happens.

Well, I'm glad to see that someone else also read the post like that. I thought that it was just me.
Question: did Bob write it like that on purpose? It must be fixing all that boinking that does it.
I didn't read it that way initially. Then I thought of saying that the stalling was just due to a bump on the road and they should just grind ahead (continuing the car/driving metaphor seemed appropriate as Bob had already mentioned stalling, jump starting, grinding brakes and they're going to be on the road a lot doing booksignings etc). And that meant I was putting bump and grinding forwards in close mental proximity and then I really couldn't ignore the innuendo potential. And so I went away without posting. But came back to admit the fact to dt so that she/he knows (s)he's not at all alone in his/her thoughts.
You don't need to see what happens when you grind forward, I can just tell you.

This is all very amusing. I hope Jenny can write a little faster. I don't want to wait 2 years to find out what happens when two people grind forward!

Just read Jenny's Argh Ink blog. Poor Bob. I'm sure that you're not "doomed". You just grind and/or collage and I'm sure that it will all work out fine.
