SHE WROTE: Welcome to the Bob and Jenny Show

Happy New Year and welcome to our dueling blog.

I'm Jenny Crusie and I wrote a book about a man, a woman, and a gator last year with the fabulously talented but up until now mostly silent Bob Mayer, who is the other half of this blog. Well, I wrote about a woman and a gator and Bob wrote about a man and a gator and then we sort of merged them. The idea was that all the scenes in the guy's point of view would ACTUALLY BE WRITTEN BY A GUY. And then all the scenes in the heroine's POV would be written by me. Strangely enough, it worked. Right, Bob? Bob?

Well, he'll get here eventually. I think he's watching the game. There's a game on today, right? I don't know because he's in North Carolina and I'm in Ohio. Trust me, it's better that way.

So now we're starting the Year from Hell which is pretty much six months on the road promoting DLD and then RWA National, all while we work on Agnes and the Hitman, our new masterpiece. So we thought we'd keep a record of where we were going and what we were doing on the book. Like weekly. Not daily. We're not that interesting.

You may have noticed the place looks a little plain. That's because it hasn't really been designed yet; in a couple of weeks it'll match the Crusie-Mayer website which is going up then. We're still arguing about where to put the gator; pity our poor web-designer, Mollie the Saint.

But for right now, welcome to He Wrote, She Wrote. And have a great 2006. We're planning on it.
