HE WROTE: Foot stomping
Uh, I didn't write that.
One of the joys of collaborating is when your co-author can't remember what she wrote.
In 2005, Bob Mayer and Jenny Crusie wrote Don't Look Down without killing each other, a miracle in itself. "He Wrote, She Wrote" is the continuing saga of their partnership during 2006, the Year From Hell, promoting DLD (out April 4) and writing their next work of genius, Agnes and the Hitman.
Warning: Some Violence and Much Strong Language.

This is very funny, no matter which version is true. :)
If you were really want to make Jenny doubt her sanity, write a prologue, make Shane smirk, add lots of tags like 'Agnes hissed/sighed/muttered' and throw in an epilogue in which Agnes and Shane have lots and lots of delightful offspring. Then tell her that she's responsible for writing all of the above. But that Bubbles is your creation and Bubbles is going to wear a hand-knitted green beret. Hmm, no, that'll just make her doubt your sanity.
Hmm...the plot thickens...
Hasn't Bob's sanity been in doubt ever since he thought collaborating with Jenny was a good idea?
