SHE WROTE: Moot Goes To The Hamilton Library
So Moot and I got in the truck and drove all the way up to the Hamilton Library because we can't say no to Nina, and also the library is gorgeous, and and also the people who show up there are always so great. I left Moot in my bag because she's, you know, kind of embarrassing, being a plastic figurine of a gator, and I gave my talk which I usually give with Bob about the collaboration, so I had to do both sides which wasn't nearly as effective, but people were very sweet. And then I said, "Questions?" and the first one was "Where's Moot?" and then of course, people took pictures. It's only a matter of time until SMP gives Moot her own book contract.
But I'd like to thank everybody who came out in that lousy weather because it really was a great afternoon. Well, it was for Moot and me anyway. Really, I met the NICEST people there. Who TOTALLY understood what was wrong with the "taking one for the team" crack, by the way.

Do you think that when she's rich and famous and successful, Moot will remember that she owes it all to you?
I feel like I take one for the team all the time. No harm, no foul. Can't wait to have y'all here later this month.
I think if this goes on much longer Moot is going to need her own blog. I for one am hoping you are getting pictures of Moot in all these locations so that you can create a scrapbook. Someday she will want to look back on all this fondly.
Some of the Moot pictures should be included in the paperback. :)
The weather wasn't so bad. Ohioans are hardy folk. Or they should be anyway. Though I'm guessing Saturday probably was a bad day to find a nice bread and/or milk selection at your local grocery store...
You did well carrying both sides. Maybe the voices help with that, too.
