SHE WROTE: The Deja Vu Post and This One
I'd go down and fix the missing SHE WROTE but since Bob refers to it in his post, I can't. Sort of like I can't delete the Glitch post because people kept commenting on it. Meanwhile, we're nattering each other to death:

geez
And it's a week until we actually start the tour.
I'm thinking we got a 50/50 chance of making it.

I've been tracking your blog since I stumbled on it a few weeks ago and have to tell you that I can't wait for the book. I eagerly look for your newest post. No one says you have to be best pals or get along well to write together, but you two are amazing. LOL Can't wait to hit the bookstore... Thank you for the extra entertainment. :)
I was listening to Gary Allan sing on CMT as I was perusing my blogline entries. He was singing "Life Ain't Always Beautiful" and one of the lines was appropriate "but it's a beautiful ride."
--------
Life ain't always beautiful
Sometimes it's just plain hard
Life can knock you down, it can break your heart
Life ain't always beautiful
You think you're on your way
And it's just a dead end road at the end of the day
But the struggle makes you stronger
And the changes make you wise
And happiness has it's own way of takin' it sweet time
[chorus]
No,life aint always beautiful
Tears will fall sometimes
Life aint always beautiful
But it's a beautiful ride
Life aint always beautiful
Some days I miss your smile
I get tired of walkin' all these lonely miles
And I wish for just one minute
I could see your pretty face
Guess I can dream, but life dont work that way
But the struggles makes me stronger
And the changes make me wise
And happiness has it's own way of takin' its sweet time
No, life aint always beautiful
But I know I'll be fine
Hey, life aint always beautiful
But its a beautiful ride
What a beautiful ride

Take some time to enjoy the book tour! ;-)
Gary Allan's wife committed suicide a few years ago and he can still acknowledge that life, while not always beautiful, is still a beautiful ride.
You two can certainly survive the book tour. *g*
Maybe we should start a pool (or two) on when they hit meltdown, just in case.
Oh, yeah. That'll make them feel better...a pool betting on when they'll lose it. ROTF
I love Gary Allan.
This sounds like me before I do a driving test. I've been driving for 19 years and never had an accident (please God, touch wood etc), but whenever we move countries we end up having to do another stupid driving exam and I melt down into a puddle.
You can both do this, but maybe you just need to be puddles for the week?
PS. No black eyes. They'll think you're beating Bob!!
Reading 'Faking it' just now... maybe you need to channel Tilda?
My money's on Jenny. Bob's got the Special Forces Ranger experience, but Jenny's got motherhood under her belt.
It's all just a dance.
Keep it moving across the floor and you can make it through anything.
Hang in there! You can do it!
Another song lyric for the thread (because Kirsty makes everything better):
Sometimes it feels like you will never win
Just when you're ready to pack it all in
You tear it all down and start over again
But I'm not down for the first time
Maybe I'll always be the one and only girl for me
I never minded the rain on my face
I knew the sun lived in some other place
I had to go I just needed the space
But I'm not down for the first time
Maybe I'll always be the one and only girl for me
Sometimes your life isn't going too well
Sometimes it reads like a postcard from hell
I've made my mistakes, I suppose you can tell
Some lives read like a postcard
And some lives read like a book
I'll be happy if mine
Doesn't read like a joke from an old Christmas cracker
(The One and Only)
Also, chocolate is good.
Something else in your favor, when you actually are traveling around on the book tour think of all the energy and effort you'll save by not having to type out these one liners. You can shout them at each other instead. :)
